The Fog Dodgers invite all residents and visitors of the Mendocino Coast to join us on our weekly group runs and walks. We have runners and walkers of all abilities (and even some bikers) and we have only one "rule" - we start at exactly 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Exercise at your own pace (1/2 hour out, 1/2 hour back) and experience the fresh Mendocino coastal air.

Fog Dodgers provides a fun, safe way to explore some of our local trails and back roads and to meet new friends. You can find out where we're going to be by reading the bottom of last week's post, then clicking on the "Our Routes" tab above. We average 15-20 persons each Sunday and typically half will go to breakfast together afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

NOYO HEADLANDS PARK - SOUTH

It was a little confusing this morning regarding where to run.  We now have several different venues with "Noyo" in their name.  Next year, a couple of them will be joined together and that will simplify matters.  Until then, well, we  (I) will try to be very specific as to where we are meeting.   I think that everybody did find us today, it was just a small attendance day.

Maybe it was the weather that kept some home.  It wasn't a pretty day.   A thick ground fog reduced visibility to about a half mile or less but a calm, 51 degrees, made perfect running and walking weather.

Those present today:  Mary, Joe, Rick, Nancy T., Roger, Susan, John, Nancy and Tom (9).  Seven of us had breakfast at David's, where we said goodbye to Mary, hopefully for just a couple of years.
