The Fog Dodgers invite all residents and visitors of the Mendocino Coast to join us on our weekly group runs and walks. We have runners and walkers of all abilities (and even some bikers) and we have only one "rule" - we start at exactly 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Exercise at your own pace (1/2 hour out, 1/2 hour back) and experience the fresh Mendocino coastal air.

Fog Dodgers provides a fun, safe way to explore some of our local trails and back roads and to meet new friends. You can find out where we're going to be by reading the bottom of last week's post, then clicking on the "Our Routes" tab above. We average 15-20 persons each Sunday and typically half will go to breakfast together afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

COASTAL TRAIL - MIDDLE

We've been having so much good weather lately, of course today would not be.  It was pretty foggy and the light easterly breeze kind of made the weather stick to any exposed skin and "feel like" 39 degrees.

Many of our group knew Keith Wyner.  Sadly, Keith passed away recently.  He helped our community in many ways and will be missed.  Keith's son, Erik, and Daughter, Erin, joined us this morning.  Erin was a regular, beginning in 1999, then moving on to Boston.  A close friend of Erin, Sarah, joined us today also. I think Sarah first ran with the Fog Dodgers in 2011.  She has run with us many times and it was nice to see her back.

Also present today: Fran, Jean, John, Beth, Bob D., Mark, Deb, Sam, Sky, Charlene, Bob C., Nancy and Tom (16).

John has sent me the photos below.  They were all taken this morning.  Thank you, John.

NEXT SUNDAY,  JAN. 26 @ 8:00 A.M.:
GROUP RUN/WALK/BIKE,  VAN DAMME STATE PARK.
You can click on the "Our Routes" tab at the top to get directions, if needed.  This will be the fourth Sunday of the month, so there may be a Pancake Breakfast at the Whitesboro Grange if anyone wants to drive a little extra.

EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, GROUP RUN/WALK @ 7:30 A.M.: COASTAL TRAIL - MIDDLE, behind the Fort Bragg Fire Station.
