The Fog Dodgers invite all residents and visitors of the Mendocino Coast to join us on our weekly group runs and walks. We have runners and walkers of all abilities (and even some bikers) and we have only one "rule" - we start at exactly 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Exercise at your own pace (1/2 hour out, 1/2 hour back) and experience the fresh Mendocino coastal air.

Fog Dodgers provides a fun, safe way to explore some of our local trails and back roads and to meet new friends. You can find out where we're going to be by reading the bottom of last week's post, then clicking on the "Our Routes" tab above. We average 15-20 persons each Sunday and typically half will go to breakfast together afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

CASPAR LOGGING ROAD

Where'd everybody go!?  What is it with Sept. 30th?  Or, what am I missing?  We had a very small group today.  Even the usually very busy David's was not so.  Six of us enjoyed breakfast following our run/walk.

It was very nice to have Melissa I. revisit us today, said she's getting ready for a marathon race.  Also present: Fran, Catherine, Nancy T., Roger, Toni, Joe, Bob, John, Nancy and Tom (11).

It was really a great morning.  By coastal standards, it was warm, 57 degrees, calm, partial clouds and balmy.  I suppose that's why all the termites and flying ants are out now, perfect conditions.

Thanks to John, for all of today's photos.  When I try to post them, "Blogger" puts them in completely different places than I had hoped.  Then, I try to move them around and things get really screwy.  So, it's "Blogger", not me!  Thanks for your understanding.

I really like the web cam that Roger has added to our page (see note below).  Thank you, Roger!
