The Fog Dodgers invite all residents and visitors of the Mendocino Coast to join us on our weekly group runs and walks. We have runners and walkers of all abilities (and even some bikers) and we have only one "rule" - we start at exactly 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Exercise at your own pace (1/2 hour out, 1/2 hour back) and experience the fresh Mendocino coastal air.

Fog Dodgers provides a fun, safe way to explore some of our local trails and back roads and to meet new friends. You can find out where we're going to be by reading the bottom of last week's post, then clicking on the "Our Routes" tab above. We average 15-20 persons each Sunday and typically half will go to breakfast together afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

Bin Runnin' and Walkin' Lately?

It was an absolutely beautiful morning for a short run/walk from Harvest Market to Safeway, then on to Purity Market and back, filling the Fort Bragg Food Bank bins along the way.  Four of us showed up today - Tom, Nancy, Geri and Johnny - but it was our distinct pleasure.

We then had a great breakfast with Brad at David's deli, and plotted how to get the rest of you to come join us next year.   More forewarning?

Maybe next month?

How about a prediction run?  A shopping cart rally?  A shopping cart ride-and-tie?  Or?

See you all on Sunday.  You can't sleep in every morning....

Nancy B. had, what I think may be a good idea. That is, to have our Food Bank Run/Walk on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. That would likely allow more people to come. Any more ideas? It was fun (and delicious) this year!
