It was 51 degrees this morning at Pudding Creek Trestle and the overcast grey was thick enough that it came down as a light drizzle. My brother, from Los Angeles, called such a drizzle a downpour, when he up here visiting. It actually made it a good morning for a run or walk along the shoreline. John took the picture to the left this morning at Pudding Creek.
And he took the picture to the right, on another day.
Also present today: Deb, Sam, Toni, Joe, Nancy T., Cheryl N., Neil, Charlene, Ron, Bob, Nancy and Tom (13).
John saw this sail boat on his way to the run. It shows quite well what a grey morning it was. Thank you, John, for your photos.
l've kind of finished this blog for today and then Toni sends me these really nice flower photos that she took. I think they are all from Pudding Creek headlands and on the beach. I'm just going to throw them all in here so that you can enjoy. They do demonstrate how pretty the wildflowers are now. We're lucky, that with our cool weather on the coast, our wildflower season lasts a long time.
Thanks, Toni, for the photos!
Seems like a weird spot for a mushroom, maybe that's why the sad face? thanks Toni. |
