COASTAL TRAIL – MIDDLE

We hike COASTAL TRAIL – MIDDLE this time and got a large group of Fogdodgers. Walking were Deb, Sam, Eve, Gary, Nancy, Tom, Marlene, Gary, Diana, Jeff, Eric, Mark, Joe, John, Barbara, Charlene, and Jean.

After the hike a large contingent went to Laurel Deli for breakfast. We were able to get the private room this time but even with three tables combined we had to have an overflow table to fit us all.

NAVARRO RIDGE

A small group of Fogdodgers gathered at the grange on NAVARRO RIDGE, Unlike several of the previous days the weather was sunny but nice and cool. Hiking were Kelly, Nancy, Tom, John, Jean, Sky, Eric, Joe, and Charlene.

Most of us stayed for the pancake breakfast at the grange, tasty as always. This time the ham was sliced thicker. Blackberry topping is the best part of this meal.

CASPAR LOGGING ROAD

A smaller group of us assembled this morning at CASPAR LOGGING ROAD. Present were John, Sky, Eve, Deb, Sam, Mark, Joe, Jean and Barbara. We hiked up the road and the majority hiked back on the trail through the woods to the south.

Several of us went to breakfast in Caspar at the bakery.

MENDOCINO HEADLANDS

This being the second Sunday of the month we walked the usual route at the MENDOCINO HEADLANDS. With the prospect of the St Anthony's pancake breakfast, I guess, there was good turnout for the hike. The group consisted of Jean, Kim, Doug, Deb, Sam, John, Joe, Nancy, Tom, Eric, Barbara, Sky, Charlene, Pat (with Leon staying behind), Suzanne, Henry, Eve, Gary, Beth, Bob, and Richard.

Afterward the majority of us went to Saint Anthony's which was not too crowded this time.

POMO BLUFFS

We hiked north along the coastal trail from POMO BLUFFS. Beautiful weather, nice and sunny, no significant wind. Hiking were Kelly, Nancy, Tom (back from their smokey river cruse), Sky, John, Joe, Eric, Jean, Charlene, Pat (with Leon staying behind), Beth, Bob, and, returning after a hiatus, Suzanne and Henry. 

Not sure where folks went to eat this time as I had another appointment.
