It was a sad morning. Instead of bringing Abby to the highlight of her week, a walk with her favorite group of people, we had to put her to rest.
Earlier this week we think she had a minor stroke. During the week she found it progressively more difficult to get her body to do what her mind wanted.

I know Abby would like to thank all her friends in the Fog Dodgers that have given her so much attention, cookies and rubs over the last 6 years of her being an enthusiastic member of the group.

We've posted just a few of the many, many of her photos. She loved Fort Bragg and especially the beach and the water. We did tell her that we were sure the group sent their best wishes, as she passed on to pastures new.
Thank you all for being so kind to Abby.

Our hearts dropped to our toes when we heard of your passing, dear Abby. Your devoted Mom & Dad...and all of us who fell in love with you will dearly miss your kind spirit and heartwarming companionship. You won't be forgotten, girl. On those extra sunny days in Heaven and you find yourself catching some rays, don't forget to apply some white zinc oxide to your nose...just like your Mama did for you. We'll all meet again, Abby. Until then...
