What a great morning! Maybe it was Joe's doing? Joe brought along 2 sisters, a cousin and a nephew, the terrible winds stopped blowing, and we all had "warm" and sunny walk, or run, or bike ride, around Noyo Bay on the Coastal Trail. I'm sorry that I can't remember all of the names. I kind of have them in my mind but for sure I couldn't correctly name all four. Thanks Joe, and Toni, for bringing the family. They were super friendly and we enjoyed talking while at a David's breakfast sitting at "our" big round table. Your cousin kindly supplied a nice family photo and one of our group, thanks Tracy!
Besides Joe and Toni and their family, present today were; Gay, Mark, Pat, Charlene, Jean, Deb, Sam, Nancy and Tom (15).
Low tide at Ward Ave., MacKerricher State Park
The picture above shows a good low tide at MacKerricher State Park. Next Sunday during our run/walk/bike, we will have a similar tide. If you like walking on the beach, next Sunday is your best bet. There's always interesting things to see or discover along the water's edge. Ten Mile beach always seems to have many sand dollars (below).
SUNDAY, MAY 30TH @ 8:OO A.M., GROUP RUN, WALK AND BIKE, WARD AVENUE. You can always click on "Our Routes" at the top of the page to find out more about our venue and where to park.
EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, GROUP RUN/WALK @ 7:30 A.M.: Beginning behind the Fort Bragg Fire Station on Tuesdays and on Big River Logging Road on Thursdays.
