Conditions were perfect this morning at Ten Mile River. We ran and walked on the logging road. I guess that we didn't miss any berry picking this year, since both sides of the roadway had recently been heavily brush/weed whacked. The temperature, under clear and calm skies, was about 48 degrees. We probably won't return to this venue but once a year or so. For some, the distance is too far and for some of the runners, too much of a paved roadway.

Previously, I mentioned that with the cooler mornings, the mosquitoes at Big River should be gone. This week, while running in Mendocino at 7:00 a.m., I found that I was wrong. So, if you're walking next week, it would be a good idea to be prepared. Do come though!
