But hats off to all you die-hards who were driving drearily down to Big River this morning in the pouring rain -- and were rewarded handsomely with a gorgeous double rainbow!!!
Oh well, the Nancys - Nancy B, Nancy R, Nancy T, and the rest of us, Cindy, Jim, Rick, Fran, Toni, Randy, Marc, John, Susie, Rod, Bob, Kim, Roger and I (17) just had to enjoy the Ron Jahelka Trail along side a swollen, muddy Big River.
Afterward, 11 of us had breakfast with Brad (and Tom!) at David's, under new ownership as of this year. Congratulations, Kira!
NEXT SUNDAY, January 9, 2011 @ 8 AM: Noyo River Haul Road (A&W)... could be muddy. See "Our Routes" above.
EVERY TUESDAY @ 7:15 AM (for the rest of January): RUSSIAN GULCH STATE PARK, beginning on Point Cabrillo Drive, 1/10 of a mile north of its south end.
EVERY THURSDAY @ 7:15 AM (for the rest of January): VAN DAMME STATE PARK, beginning at the beach.
p.s. Sorry I'm late getting this out, but it's been really nice out doors today and you should have been out there too....

Thanks, Johnny. I was there with Brad also but maybe I'm being punished for not going out in the rain? Mainly I wanted to say that us "mid-week runners" completed an accident free year in 2010. That's right! Not one of us fell down all year! Believe.
Tom
I am SO sorry, Tom! I just always think of you being at the run, and you know I have a mental block against "counting" those (Brad) who just show up for breakfast.
I've had a problem with you counting me when I just show up for breakfast, too. Just say "And Brad, as usual, just joined for the food." I'm totally ok with that.
You'll have to live with it (the guilt) Brad, you're going to get "counted". Someone pointed out long ago, that going to breakfast was very important for the camaraderie of the group. And we all know, I'm always hoping for bigger numbers!
OK Tom, I can manage that. I don't want you worrying about the numbers when you are away.
