What a beautiful morning! Fortunately for us, we walked and ran in between showers. For us, the sky was about 50% clear blue, and about %50 fluffy white cumulous clouds. It was somewhere just south of 50 degrees, just right for running and walking! The ocean, with large breakers, was spectacular!

Thank you Bill and Jordan, for bringing a new walker, John. Hopefully he enjoyed the morning and will return. John recently became a full time local!

The rains and stormy seas have really done a number on MacKerricher Beach and Lake Cleone. A couple of feet of sand now covers Mill Creek Drive and much of the berm (former railroad!) separating Lake Cleone from the ocean, has been washed away. State Park's wish, of bringing back an estuary and doing away with the lake may have been realized.
