Thank you John, for today's photos. And thanks for the run. On some mornings, the benefits of walking or running with a group are more apparent. This morning, the beach seemed longer and straighter, the sand softer and the morning greyer. On my own, I may not have kept going but with a group, you kind of just keep going. It was 48 degrees and calm, skies were mostly overcast with high clouds and the surf was large with several breaks.

Next Sunday, we'll do the north section of the new Coastal Trail. It's the half that starts near Glass Beach and from there, you can go either north or south.

EVERY TUESDAY, GROUP RUN @ 7:00 A.M.: RUSSIAN GULCH STATE PARK, beginning on Point Cabrillo Drive, 1/10 of a mile north of it's south end.
EVERY THURSDAY, GROUP RUN @ 7:00 A.M.: VAN DAMME STATE PARK, beginning at the beach.
