It was a little brighter this morning, since we all moved our clocks back last night. It was a little chilly though, 46, with a stiff breeze. One of those mornings when everyone starts moving out a little before 8:00.

On the lower part of the Big River Road, we couldn't see much evidence of the work that they had been doing recently. Some of the construction waste soil has been used to fill in the rock quarry/frog pond and I'll be sorry to see that go.

For next week, we will go back to the Pudding Creek Trestle to begin, just because we haven't been there for quite awhile.

Please try to save Sunday, Dec. 14th. After our run/walk, we will have a Potluck Breakfast and Cookie Exchange. There is always a good turnout and lots of delicious food and good conversation. You can bring anything you'd like, including a plate of cookies, if you would like to participate in the Cookie Exchange. It will be at Tom and Nancy's house.

EVERY TUESDAY @ 7:00 A.M.: RUSSIAN GULCH STATE PARK, beginning on Point Cabrillo Drive, 1/10 of a mile north of its south end.
EVERY THURSDAY @ 7:00 A.M.: VAN DAMME STATE PARK, beginning at the beach.
