Another week of Shelter at Home, and it seems to be working! Mendocino County has held steady at 4 active cases for a couple of weeks. We had almost an inch of rain overnight and this morning. That's good for our redwoods but not so good for our worms, and at least a couple of frogs. Yeah, that's what we found on our local roadway, thousands of worms. And, I don't for a minute, forget about the rest of world and how Corona Virus is taking it's toll.
We ran and walked our own neighborhoods, and present today:

NEXT SUNDAY, 4/12, We'll have to run and walk from our homes. Let me know how you did!
County Shelter in Place Order, pertinent section here:
Allowed: "To engage in outdoor activity, such as walking, jogging, hiking or biking, initiated from one’s residence, which does not involve the use of a motor vehicle or public transit to the location of exercise, such as for example, within walking, jogging, hiking, or biking distance of your place of residence only, provided the individuals comply with Social Distancing Requirements as defined in this Section."
We have had a Fog Dodger Run/Walk every Sunday for almost 22 years now. This isn't going to stop the Fog Dodgers. So, I will be walking from my home and I suggest that you do also. I'd welcome an email ( triley@mcn.org ) from you saying that you were "present". Give the general area where you walked or ran and if you get an interesting picture or bit of trivia, include that. I'll post the blog and I bet John can find a picture. It will be a Multi-venue Fog Dodger Walk/Run!
EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, GROUP RUN AND WALK @ 7:30 A.M., MENDOCINO AREA (we can do this if we combine it with an essential shopping trip and maintain our social distancing). Contact Tom if you want to join in but aren't sure where to meet.
