Daylight Savings Time is still on until November 7th, so it's pretty dark now at 8:00 a.m., especially on a cloudy and rainy morning. This morning, though pouring rain, was a warm 60 degrees. The little tributary streams and waterfalls were really flowing, making incredible sounds as were the large rain drops hitting the tree's leaves. It was a great morning to be out! Brad joined us afterwards for a great breakfast at David's Restaurant (4).
Since most of us like the A&W Logging Road and only 3 of us got to be there this morning, I think it fair to plan a repeat for next Sunday.
NEXT SUNDAY, 10/31/10, HALLOWEEN, @ 8:00 A.M.: A&W Logging Road (see "Our Routes" above).
EVERY TUESDAY @ 7:00 A.M.: RUSSIAN GULCH STATE PARK, beginning on Point Cabrillo Drive, 1/10 of a mile north of it's south end.
EVERY THURSDAY @ 7:00 A.M.: VAN DAMME STATE PARK, beginning at the beach.

I agree, it was beautiful out there, and I'd point out that the road was pretty well drained. Of course, it's been a week of rain since then....
Tom, I think you're going to get your wish for a repeat alright - looks like dark and rainy again, followed by breakfast. :)
