Spring Ranch, Little River |
John wanted to finish his run early today and then get out of town, so he went out yesterday and took a couple of nice photos for us. Then, he started this morning an hour before the rest of us (some of us call people like him "lion bait") so while the rest of us are shivering in the parking lot at 41 degrees, John was finished already and steamin! Thanks John, and have a good trip.

When we arrived this morning, I was amazed at the number of cars in the Van Damme parking lot. It looked like one of those minus tide mornings, when the lot fills up with abalone pickers/divers. And so now I'm puzzled. I come up mentally with 23 names present this morning but it just seems there should be more. I apologize if I've left you off and I really was happy that you were there!
It was great this morning to meet a new runner, Katrina. Also, Chuck was back (I think we had met before?) again. Really nice, to see 11 runners this morning, like days of old. We love the walkers too but the Fog Dodgers started as a running group and lately there have been many more of the latter. If my mind is right, also present were: John (lion bait), Rod (out ahead of us and doing trail maintenance, thanks), Sarah, Ginny, Terry, Fran, Suzi, Neil, Nancy B., Rick, Tanya, Cheryl, Bob, Shari, Peter, Steve, Greg, Gay, Mark, Nancy and Tom (23).
Next Sunday is the fourth Sunday of the month. That means that there are nice community breakfasts at both Whitesboro Grange and the Caspar Community Center. Last month we were at the Whitesboro Grange/Navarro Ridge Road and so this
